Sacred Heart Convent 126th Feast

 

    

Sacred Heart Convent celebrated her 126^th Feast on 16^th of June 2023.

The celebration began with a consecration ceremony at the School Main Hall which was organized by the Catholic Association of Sacred Heart Convent.

This ceremony was graced by Rev.Fr. Damian Arsakularathna, Parish Priest of St. Mary’s Cathedral, Galle and Rev. Sr. Anjela Fernando, Mother Superior of Sacred Heart Convent, Rev. Sr. Sandhya Fernando, The Principal of Sacred Heart Convent, Rev. Sr. Mihiri Perera, Assistant Principal for Co-Curricular Activities and Head of the Primary Section, Deputy Principals and the staff.

Secondly, the Holy Eucharistic Celebration in line with the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was held at the Chapel of Sacred Heart Convent and it was officiated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Raymond Wickramasinghe, Bishop of Galle Diocese and Rev.Fr. Charles Hewavasam, the Vicor General of Galle Diocese, Rev.Fr. Lakshman Peiris, the Superior of Jesuit Community. Moreover, Rev.Fr. Damian Arsakularathna, Rev.Fr. Sampath Wilegoda, Rev.Fr. Prasad Ruwan and Rev.Fr. Dominic Sameera were also present at this graceful occasion.

Furthermore, the Mother Superior of Sacred Heart Convent, our dear Principal,  Rev. Sisters, Deputy Principals, Assistant Principal and the staff were also present at this Holy Eucharistic celebration.
